Disposing of Sludge and unusable oil
Please think twice about dumping it. I’ve found that local Hazmat centers will take the garbage WVO in containers. Many accept only 15gallons at a time due to transport laws. Make sure you say it is from personal use, otherwise there is likely to be a fee.
Places to take the waste oil:
You may also try Biodiesel or other grease renderers. Sometimes Biodiesel folks can use and refine the stuff WVO burners can’t.
*Note – gardens do not like much waste vegetable oil. It will suffocate roots and possibly make the soil more basic
