Now that the Raw Power Oil Centrifuges have FINALLY shipped!

I am starting this thread to field the questions and host the answers that will undoubtedly come flocking in. Don't hold back with the answers either, if everyone throws in there 2 cents maybe we can get a beer!

The other thing that I am anticipating/hoping for is some nice posts on the installations of your machines. <strong>The place for this is the BLOG section</strong>. All registered users can post unlimited blog entries which can be commented on directly. This will be a much better place to show off what you have done!

Anyway, it has been a long time coming and I appreciate everyones patience. I have attached the assembly/installation drawing that I finally got motivated to do. I suspect it could prove to be helpful. Also, the high rez pdf is in the download section.

lol:laugh:
i just spent an hour pouring over your drawings in the forum and calculating the foot print of the RPC!
i came on again to find one more thing and discovered this brand new post!
im designing the inside of my van and i want to build in a compartment.

what i got was about 17 1/2" tall and maybe the same wide. but that is still not apparent from the above illustration.

my question:

what is the exact height (with the elbow on top) and foot print(i guess that would be a diameter, from the outside of the foot) of the RPC?

Yea, Sorry. That is what I meant by looking closer. I just thought that it was funny that I had both the dimensions that you were looking for on the drawing. The picture is a preview at best. The PDF in the download section is readable.

Wow I got my CF today..... Really cool. No installation instructions. So I went on this site, found your hi-res pdf. Still an installation order would be nice. Maybe I'm missing it somewhere, if so let me know where it is.

Anyway, here is the order I've done things so far (probably not the best way)

1. installed the legs
2. installed the 2 3/4" male female 90 degree elbows on bottom of housing
3. install the 3/4" Barbed hose X 3/4" NPT Male into the Two Elbows in 2. above
4. installed the motor using newspapers to prop up high enough in order to get the 4 button head socket cap screws threaded. I did remember the viton seals. Tightened all four.
5. installed the 3 draw latches
6. installed the 3/4" male female 90 degree elbow on the lid
7. installed the 3/4" Barbed hose X 3/4" NPT Male into the Elbow on the lid
8. installed the 2 3/4" heas head plugs on the lid

OK so thats where I'm at currently. I an not sure about how the parts on the shaft of the motor go together. I have studied the PDF and I am still not sure how it goes together. Maybe Leon could give us some pictures of the parts going onto the shaft in the order they should go.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
