Wow!! It will take a few days for me to absorb all the info. Thank you for posting all of this. Now I can figure if it is cheaper to build a DIY or just buy a vegistroke or other system.

I am confused about one point.

My stock 2002 PSD already has check valves that Ford installed when they deadheaded the fuel going to the heads. Vegistroke inserts another checkvalve in series with factory check valve.

Is this what you did?

Why does Vegistroke use two checkvalves in series for each head?

Thanks for the info

This would be cheaper.

I believe there are check valves at the filter. However, these would have to take 80psi and not leak. Hard to say what the spec of the stock check is but certainly they would not be designed to meet the modified condition. I would suspect that they would have been included in the design to keep the fuel system primed.

Can you make the font on th parts list bigger, so I can see it?

I am currently running the v3 vegistroke and I love it. I am in the process of a DIY vegistroke kit on a friends 97 powerstroke. A part lis would help out greatly. Thanks

Login and go to the download section. You can download all the pictures in a zip file. I am working on getting it all put together with instructions in a pdf document. I will send out an update when it is complete.

Great info you guys are posting!!!
Money is tight, which is why I am doing this, what do you guys think about moving the fuel pump and Heated filter way up the front instead of running the heat exchanger right before the manifold?

also do you have a list of places you found your parts.

one last question, Heated filters.... do the electric ones work well enough and do they put to much of a draw on your power?

thanks
