The temp sensor in the parts list mounts in a plugged port on the water pump housing at the front of the motor.

This port? The port in this picture is immediately below the thermostat housing. (Which i removed today to install my 203* thermostat.)

I am guessing that the threads in this port are the 3/8" described in the BOM. The only temp probe i was able to get in any decent amount of time is a 1/4" probe. I guess i will have to get a 3/8" x 1/4" bushing. This is good because i am nervous about how long the probe it. 1".

Leon

I just got done installing the check valve in the front of the driver side head, but there is no way I'm getting to the back of the passenger head. Can I put in a check valve of the opposite flow in the other side of the line, where it goes into the fuel filter canister?????

Thanks Skip

I wouldn't make any difference if you put it on the other end of the line but I don't know that you will have the right fittings. Check it but I suspect that you are going to have to suck it up and get back there. Remove the turbo Y pipe and you can reach it. You should probably replace the old o-rings if they looked as bad as mine.

This is the hard part but it is over quickly. Be sure that you only have to do it once.
