TOPIC: Fuel psi switch sticking
#850
Fuel psi switch sticking 1 Year, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
So i have come to the conclusion that the psi switch that kills the diesel pump when there is grease pressure is sticking. I have almost "Run out of fuel" twice now. The engine cooled while i was stopped, the grease was not flowing, but yet the diesel pump was not running. I had to remove the ground wire from the relay in order to remove the ground that was closed by the psi switch. Anyone experience a degrading of the switch?

Anything can (and will eventually) fail.

I want to hear if this fixes it. Could also be the relay...
