Which motor is best for WVO? Power Stroke, DuraMax or Cummins? or are all these motors ok? Im thinking of the early models like 80-90's as im a broke ass! also im thinking about getting the Goldenfuel system kit... any info would be awsome!! THANKS!!

I would say a ford is the best to get because of the deadhead fuel system. its so easy to convert and you end up with 2 fuel systems on the truck. diesel is fed from 1 side of the rails and VO from the other. plug the 7.3 powerstroke is one of the best motors out there.

The powerstrokes are also highly tunable. The last one we did we added a bully dog programmer that increased 250 ft/lbs of torque. We could spin all 4 back wheels.. on svo! The Cummins (in the dodge's) are great motors too and will last for a very long time but they don't have the fuel setup options of the powerstroke and they are already tuned up about as much as they can get. The duramax actually has arguably the best design but it wasn't executed as well so they don't last like the other engines. If you get the powerstroke be sure to go for the 7.3, they have soooo many less problems than the 6.0's

Here's a good post to read on this topic - the inventor of the Vegistroke explains why the 7.3 is so veg-friendly and why he chose to focus primarily on the Powerstrokes: www.powerstroke.org/forum/bio-diesel-alt...ks-best-convert.html - hope that helps!
