Bolt on Heater
From WVO Designs Wiki
There are only a few pieces to put together with the Bolt-On Heater.
- Seal up the threads and screw in the hose barbed fittings on the horizontal ports. Then screw in the bottom port plug.
- Attach the hose and hose fittings. One from the top of the heater housing and the other end goes to the centrifuge input.
- Use the 2 allen screws to affix the heater housing to the centrifuge
- Seal up the threads and screw the heater into the housing. This will not screw down completely flush with the housing.
- Insert the orange disc inbetween the heater and thermostat.
- Connect wiring. An old extension cord will work fine. Run the wire through the cap-hole before affixing leads. See wiring photo below.
- The remaining 3 screws are to hold the cap in place.
Use thread sealant on the heating element treads. It will not screw down flush with the housing. Poke the prongs of the thermostat through the pre-made holes in the orange disc.
Here's an example of an extension cord to use. You may want to get one that has a switch built in.
White wire goes to "N" and Black wire goes to "L". Put the green wire on the ground screw(not necessary with the Basic Centrifuge as the centrifuge motor is grounded)
