Fuel Price Down; Anyone still using Veggie?…..

Diesel is cheaper, Diesel is cheaper!  Well it is, however I’m not hearing this chanted in the streets. I get more of a sense that folks are just waiting for the price to go up again, rather than enjoying the recent relief in prices.   It’s like we are experiencing eye of a hurricane.   Drivers have been tormented by high prices over the course of the last 16 months, and they know it’s coming again.   Diesel prices are down $.50 from the recent peak in on April 2, 2012.

Still using veggie?  Yes sir.  Lots of us are still using veggie.  It’s not only about saving money, it’s Energy Independence.   Many of us are immune to the emotional and financial battering of unstable and ever-increasing fuel prices.

Here are some more charts for you sourced from http://www.eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel/

Notice that the diesel price prediction doesn’t follow the historical swings in prices.  It’s a flat line which sound like they are saying, “we don’t really know”.  Like a weatherman saying “temeratures will be average” for the rest of the year, even though we just broke heat records recently.

    Anyone stop using WVO…………LOL

    Are you crazy? =]

Diesel will never drop low enough for me to stop running on WVO!! I am a Disabled Veteran and this helps me make it and save for possible repairs and such. I drove almost 3000 miles one month moving a few months ago and if it weren’t for WVO I couldn’t have done it!!

Thanks for all you guys do and share with us!!

    Keep up the good work!!

Nope, I won’t stop using veggie until diesel drops to less than $.50 a gallon. Even then, it’s twice what I pay for my fuel including the electricity to run my ‘fuge.
The article said it best. We are insulated from the financial and emotional ups and downs that fuel prices put on you.
