Buy filtered Oil
No matter where you reside, odds are there is a greaser nearby who will be willing to sell you some clean, filtered oil. If you can get it for $1/gal sweet! I wouldn’t pay more than $2 a gallon. Be sure to ask how they filter and if it has been tested for water.
How to find it?
- Check Craigslist or post an ad.
- Ask the local conversion shop for a referral.
- Check online. Like this link: Fill up 4 Free

At one point I was filtering oil for 3 different people. I had a huge filtering setup in a shipping container. I had well over 1500 gallons of oil in the container. I didn’t like collecting oil and didn’t have many sources, but Two of them would bring me the dirty oil and I would filter it in exchange for half of the oil. One person gave me physical therapy for filtered oil.
