Unless youre planning on going to the countryside where you might have to carry your luggage for extended periods of time i would take a medium sized suitcase with wheels and a small backpack for day to day stuff. Roads are usually smooth and exept for stairs (a couple of comments have mentioned them already) there are no real obstacles for you to roll around a suitcase with wheels!I will be going in a few weeks and I just bought a small 20 carry on suitcase to go along with my small bobby backpack. There is absolutely no way I want to carry everything on my back, even if I am just doing a 10 day trip where I can do laundry in the middle of it, I absolutely do not want everything on my back.
