I still learning a lot about the game and didn even know there was a backpack that preserves food. I don know if it would be too useful at least for me because I never had a problem with food spoiling much. At all. When I go on backpacking trips for hiking, I will often pare back on other "luxuries", like electronics, my heavier but anti theft travel backpack nicer sleeping pad, etc. And can cut my base weight by another pound or two. This means I can sometimes swap in an ILC.

bobby backpack I would stay away from backpacks with big logos, bright colours or sporty ones that are more suited for outdoor activities. There are backpacks made specially for school/work. Mine is plain black and it has a pouch for my laptop so it very practical.bobby backpack
bobby backpack I really do like it, but it has one or two limitations I ran into my last trip. My primary issue was airflow on the back: I was nearly always sweating after 15 minutes of walking around. It would be great if they added a mesh or ridged foam back like the Ospreys (which a friend of mine brought on the same trip).bobby backpack
travel backpack anti theft proof backpack I still don too often do more than 3 days, but thats more because we don have family to help us out with the kids and my husband would have to take off work, etc. I and my husband do lots of trips with the kids though, we camp really frequently and have since they were little and I have always taken them on solo hikes since they were babies.
